Forget Thor, Chris Hemsworth’s kids all want to be Wonder Woman this Halloween!

Chris Hemsworth Wonder Woman

I guess having Thor as your dad isn’t enough inspiration when it comes to Halloween costumes, because Chris Hemsworth’s youngsters (one daughter and twin boys) ALL want to be Wonder Woman this year. The reason? Apparently she’s stronger, and Daddy Thor is more than fine about that.

No contest when it comes to heroes

Choosing what to wear on Halloween can be a tricky decision for some kids, but not for Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s three tiny tots!

According to the Aussie actor, who appeared on Good Morning America yesterday to promote his fifth outing as the hammer-wielding god in his new flick Thor: Ragnarok, it was a collective decision from his daughter India (5) and sons Tristan and Sascha (3).

“I said, ‘That’s awesome, but what about Thor?'” At the same time they went, ‘No,'” Chris humorously told the TV hosts.

A strong role model

Not content to leave it at that, the 34-year-old doting dad decided to delve a bit deeper.

“I went, ‘Who’s stronger?’ They said, ‘Wonder Woman.’ I’m happy to play second to Wonder Woman,” he confessed.

And why wouldn’t he? Wonder Woman has broken all kinds of records with recent film outings and the iconic character has become an incredible idol for not only little girls, but evidently all children thanks to her awesome strength, courage and kick-ass abilities.

Pumped for Halloween

During the interview Chris also revealed that now his family is spending more time in America, his kids have become a lot more into celebrating the spooky holiday.

“We’re from Australia, so we never celebrated much there,” he explained. “In the bush, there wasn’t really any houses around, so you’re foraging through the trees for some berries. But they’re excited now they’re around the chocolate and the lollies.”

Poor Chris has been missing out! Perhaps there’s not much in the way of Halloween celebrations happening in Byron Bay (where he lives with wife Elsa and his three kids when not overseas for work), but there are plenty of us in other parts of Australia who love a good Halloween dress up or excuse to get crafty.

We can’t wait to see the pics of Chris’s little Wonder Woman times three in action! What are your kids dressing as this Halloween?
