How will you be spending Sunday with Dad? Brunch with the family followed by a bit of shopping and perhaps a trip to the beach? Sounds like a perfect Father’s Day, right? Apparently, not.
As funny man Penn Holderness explains, this is how Dad really wants to spend his day. No beach. No shopping. And no brunch in sight.
While some of the lyrics may be lost in American translation, I’m sure most Aussie dads would agree that this sounds like a pretty good day.
So what’s on the agenda for Dad tomorrow? A sleep in, a little bit of breakfast in bed, hours in front of the television, a boat-load of sushi, foot and back rubs from the kids, some family snuggles on the couch and a bit of afternoon delight.
Throw in a couple hours of fishing, double the esky size and swap golf for footy and the main man in your life has a nice little Sunday ahead of him.
What are you up to for Father’s Day? Will you be planning a day of family-fun adventure or will you be letting your partner sleep in and watch Die Hard films all day?
