Weedoodle’s arty animals

I probably never thought that a vulture lent itself to italics or that zebras should be sans serif until I saw the delightful animal alphabet by Weedoodle.

Weedoodle offers modern art prints that celebrate typography. Each animal in the alphabet (from a lovely red ant through to the zebra) is created using a single letter in a single font and the results are stunning. The animals appear out of the letters and no detail is missed, from the wobbly, ungainly ‘g’ legs of the giraffe to the looped ‘i’ tale of the iguana and the superb ‘j’ tentacles of the jellyfish.

Weedoodle prints are US$28 each and can be shipped to Australia.
