Adorable-alert! Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s daughter Luna cutely popped up on her mum’s Instagram over the weekend, and she was utterly transfixed by her dad’s vocal performance, as you can see.
The video features a wide-eyed Luna peering through the darkness at her on-stage dad and it confirmed that one-year-old Luna is a certified super fan!
“👀 all eyes on dada,” Chrissy captioned the adorable Instagram video. Chrissy also shared a backstage photo featuring one of John’s musicians giving this cute kiddo her very own private performance – as she snuggled with her mum and listened carefully.
It’s plain to see that Luna’s growing up surrounded by music and adventures – and is usually supportively in tow as her parents do their work.
For those fashion followers playing at home, Chrissy is wearing stretch-jersey ankle boots by French label Vetements. A total snap at $1755 AU, they feature a rainbow and star printed heel and super-weird glamorous sock look. Chrissy paired the boots with an oversized denim jacket and there were probably some pants in there somewhere, but we can’t really tell.
While it’s being reported by ET Online that this video was filmed on the weekend, we can’t help but notice that Chrissy wore this exact outfit two weeks ago in a pre-show snap John shared (below). That shot featured this cute, funny, musical family visiting the Miami Aquarium, before John’s show there later that night. Perhaps this look is Chrissy’s favourite outfit and she wears it all the time? *shrugs*
The family came under fire for John’s aquarium image, with followers questioning the ethics of promoting animals in captivity as entertainment.
“You have such a beautiful family please use your fame for good and not to give publicity to such awful places. @johnlegend @chrissyteigen,” one fan wrote, as others branded aquariums as animal slavery and chastised the couple.
“Awful. Please connect your children to nature in a better way than by supporting these terrible places! 👎🏼” another posted.
“Very upsetting. I see you both as a progressive couple and you have always stood up against oppression. Please do the same for animals and do research about these aquariums. 🐳🐠🐬 @johnlegend” an activist wrote.
Those concerns seem totally fair and while it’s unfortunate that the the family spruiked aquariums as fun, they’ve certainly started an important discussion about the problems with these facilities. Here’s hoping it prompts them to change their stance.
