Want to save a baby name from extinction? Here’s 50 names to consider

Even great names can fall from the top. Just ask all the Harolds, Janets and Donnas in the world. Although these names once peaked in popularity and topped the charts, they are now on the verge of extinction. Come and see the other 47 names that join them.

Hit up an office in the 90s and we guarantee that someone on staff was named Carol, Roger or Gary. This will no longer be the case in a few years’ time as these once-popular names are being made redundant by younger, hipper, trendier choices.

So which names are falling faster than any others? And what will be taking their place?

*Keep in mind that these statistics are from the Social Security Administration and project American families only. Australians may, in fact, still really love these names. And there may be a new generation of Ronalds being born as you read this.  But we highly doubt it.*
