Elle Australia did it last year. And now Vogue Brasil is following suit – placing a beautiful bonding moment between a mother and her infant on the cover of their magazine.
The road to normalising breastfeeding continues in the right direction with Brazil becoming the latest country to embrace breastfeeding and highlight this special moment with a cover for their September edition of Vogue Brasil.
Carol Trentini, who looks absolutely flawless after giving birth only a few short weeks ago, graces the cover in an oversized trench coat with her newborn son, Benoah, cradled elegantly at the breast. She thanked the magazine for sharing this special moment in an Instagram post.

This isn’t the first time model Carol Trentini’s photographic moments have come with a motherly theme. In a photo shoot four months ago, with the same photographer, Zee Nunes, Carol was seven months pregnant and glowed in a serious of stunning images showcasing her growing belly.
The photos from both shoots appear in the September edition.

In addition to Benoah, the stunning model is also mum to son Bento, 3, with husband Fabio Bartelt. Zee Nunes captures a perfect moment between Carol and Bento as part of the photo series.
Thank you to the #ama for naming us the #coveroftheyear This shows that people are conscious and listening, don’t stop raising awareness, it only takes one person to start a movement. #normalizebreastfeeding Thank you to @justine_cullen and @elleaus for being so bold and forward thinking #honored 🙏🏻

Magazines often showcase model mothers (with their children too) but it is quite rare to display such a personal moment. Elle Australia did it with model Nicole Trunfio and son Zion back in May 2015 and Vogue Netherlands featured model Doutzen Kroes and her two children on the cover, as well as a photo of her breastfeeding in bed inside the issue.
