Urban Dad backpack – a nappy bag designed for men that mums can use too

The menfolk often miss out when it comes to baby accessories so this is a nifty little product indeed. The Urban Dad backpack from Terminus is specially designed to fit a man’s larger frame while being suitable for mum too. It’s also jam packed with awesome features.

Along with its many and useful compartments for things like food, keys, nappies, an iPad, bottles and personal belongings, it has a detachable storage divider for hot and cold items! There is also plenty of space for clothing, towels and other bulky bits and bobs.

It comes with all the standard necessities of a nappy bag, like a padded change mat and – unique for a backpack (yet very handy) – a long strap for hanging on the pram during walks.

Terminus Urban Dad Backpack

Terminus company founder Liew Bin is quite the bag expert. He’s been in business since 1994 and has produced some 60 million bags for more than 4000 clients. So, when he says on his website that the Urban Dad backpack is ergonomically shaped for comfort and meticulously designed, I’m pretty sure you can bet on it being an absolutely certainty (and not a sales spiel).

The backpacks, which come in grey, yellow or red, are available for RM299 (Malaysian Ringgit) at the Terminus online store. That’s a conversion of approximately $106 at the time of writing this. Also at the time of writing this, they were on sale for RM225 ($80) so get in quick if you’re interested!
