Top ten fashion finds of 2013 for mums and kids

Yes, we love toys, gadgets and and furniture for little people but really, it’s all about the fashion, right? Curious as to what the most popular fashion posts of 2013 were? Sit back and prepare to go ooohhh because it has been a pretty fancy-pants year.

Always on the cutting edge, Babyologists couldn’t keep away from our write-up of Playtime Paris 2013 where we bought you all the latest trends from the annual trade show that leads the way for the rest of the children’s fashion world.

And then there were the shoes, these Mini Melissa lovelies (pictured above) caused quite a stir and is it any wonder? Cherries and cats people! Australia’s tiniest gumboots also took your fancy.

It’s not all about the kids though, this massage-encouraging Car Playmat Shirt (above) had the dads pretty excited and the Tiny and I teething necklaces (below) were a huge hit with the mammas, coming in at number one for the year. These were my personal favourite and even though they are designed for teething babies, I wore my necklace well before my little man made his delayed entrance into the world.

New concepts always prove to be popular so it was no surprise that the After Baby Bags by Iltuto (above) and Overcrawls (below) gained a heap of attention.

It could just be because I had my first son, but I really think boy’s fashion has come a long way this year, so many new comfy and trendy options popped up that had me swooning. Apparently I’m not alone as you guys went a little click-crazy over both the relaxed threads from Duke of London (above) and  Little Titans tights for boys.

You also proved your love of an exclusive, (like there was ever any doubt) with an epic communal-banana-losing over the chevron ErgoPouch airCocoon (pictured below).
