Top five posts in September

Rebecca Judd and twins

Inspiring mums had us all talking last month, whether showing off their breastfeeding yoga skills or sharing hilarious post-birth confessions. And to top it all off style icon Bec Judd and her husband welcomed their twin boys.

Here’s September’s top five posts, as voted by you.

Topping the list was a post on breastfeeding yoga poses you need to see to believe. Super flexible mum-of-three Carlee Benear manages to twist and contort her body into a range of difficult yoga poses, all while feeding her newborn daughter Maramaylee.

Our second most popular post was a poignant reminder by Babyology writer Jenna Gallina of how fast our babies grow up. As her daughter’s fourth birthday comes and goes, Jenna reflects on the nine things she wishes she had known when her kids were still babies.

Next was the before and after shot every mum needs to see. Melbourne mummy blogger Laura Mazza shares two photos, the first is of her body before she had kids and the second is taken post-children. As she points out, the first photo might be of the body everyone finds acceptable, but the second achieved far more than the first ever did.

You also loved this honest and hilarious list of 13 things new mums only discover in the first hours after giving birth. This time the awesome Jenna gets real about new babies covered in goo, the post-birth waddle and swollen lady bits.

And finishing off the popular list in the-month-that-was was the news many of us had been waiting for – the safe arrival of Bec and Chris Judd’s twin boys. Tom and Darcy Judd arrived at lunchtime on 29 September 2016 and the proud Aussie mum shared her first sweet snap on Instagram.
