Who doesn’t love a party? We love them to bits here at Babyology and so do you. Here are the five favourite children’s birthday parties and baby showers that we showed you this year – as voted by you!

Top of the list was this super fun gender reveal baby shower from all the way back in February. The parents didn’t know the sex of their baby until they cut into this cake in front of all their family and friends… and surprise, it’s a boy!

knight-party-6

Next came a party that was a particular favourite of mine – my own son’s knights and dragons party. We showcased Will’s third birthday in December and it’s been the second most popular party amongst Babyologists this year. I had such fun putting it together for him and I’m so thrilled you all loved it!

vintage-firetruck-party-10

Third on our 2014 party hit list was Archie’s vintage fire truck party. This had so many delightful touches, from the vintage fire trucks found at flea markets around the traps to the quirky food tags, that we’re not surprised you loved it so.

This next one was another favourite  – Avery’s You Are My Sunshine party. I loved the story behind this first birthday celebration as much as the party itself. And trust me, there was a lot to love about it.

zoo-party-4

Rounding up our top five parties for 2014 was Emi’s rather sweet zoo party. There were so many creative food ideas at play here, from owlish sandwiches to snail wraps. so take another look and borrow some ideas for your next party too.

We can’t wait to bring you some more glorious parties next year. If you have a wow-worthy baby shower or children’s party to share, just fill in this form on our contact us page and it might be your party we share next.
