Things that don’t go bump in the night

I have been waiting for someone to come out with this concept, and it’s about time they were on the market. When my five month old woke up with a huge dent in her head from wedging it between the bars of the cot, it was a trip to the emergency department for us. I had something similar made by a local tailor, but it was a lot of work finding someone to make it and of course wasn’t as stylish as these ones.

Wonder-bumpers from Go Mama Go Designs is something that I would have bought in a heartbeat. Soft, protective, vertical padding which zip onto each individual bar prevents little heads or limbs from being banged on bars, or getting stuck between them, while allowing for better circulation than traditional cot bumpers. And not only can you see what your baby is up to without getting close enough for them to notice, they can happily see the world around them.

The bumpers come in a host of colours and their reversible designs mean you can mix and match until the cows come home. Prices start at US$119 for a set of 24, and Go Mama Go Designs ship internationally.
