The Wardrobe Edit – reclaim your personal style!

It’s an easy thing to do, to lose your style mojo as a new parent. Sleep deprivation and feeding around the clock will do that to you, but when that newborn fog lifts and the need to feel a little bit more like your former stylish self emerges, you’re likely to discover your wardrobe contents just aren’t working for you. There’s a lot to be said about nursing bras and extra lumps and bumps – so who are you going to call? The Wardrobe Edit, that’s who.

The Wardrobe Edit is a personal style session with the effervescent Jill Birmingham who knows her stuff, we assure you. Based in Sydney, Jill has more than a decade of fashion experience working in magazines and writes Hue What Wear blog, making her akin to a fashion fairy godmother.

The Wardrobe Edit starts with a discussion about your lifestyle and wardrobe needs. Jill will assess your existing wardrobe contents, right down to the nitty gritty of shoes and accessories – helping you develop and extend your own personal style. Jill will visit you in your own home and advise you on wardrobe changes to be made, what to keep, what to chuck and then how to put everything together. You might just be surprised at how awesome your existing stuff can work, in ways you never dreamed of wearing it!

Passionate about helping women develop their style whatever their age or shape, Jill can even dispense some fabulous skincare and make up tips and advice for looks that are easy to achieve. Now I’m sure that plenty of mums will say they don’t care, that they’re too busy for frivolous fashion when there are much more important things that deserve their attention. Which might be true, but I believe all mums deserve to give themselves some attention simply because, generally speaking, if you look good, you feel good.
