Colours, music and stacking. These are universal play themes for happy kids and satisfied parents. It seems all children love to put things together, take apart and repeat again and again. This sublime Stacking Rhythm Band toy designed by Patrick Kim feature all of the above in one very cool package.
Tots can start by un-stacking the rainbow coloured five xylophone rings to reveal a maraca, guiro and mallet. I can foresee the scenerio at our house: stack, stack, stack, take apart, play some music, and then sing ‘red, orange, yellow, green, blue’ as my little one stacks it all back up. Sounds like a winning formula to me and once stacked, you’ve got a FSC certified mahogany and powder coated aluminium triumph of design.
Better still, it’s completely transportable making long car rides a pleasant memory and playdates a shared music making adventure.
I for one cannot wait to get my hands on one of these for my daughter, however it is still a design concept and there’s no word yet on where or when to buy. We’ll of course keep you updated.
