The Powercurl – another gadget for the cable stable

Babyology readers would be forgiven for thinking that we’re a little fanatical about ways to manage power cords; we’ve covered all sorts of clips, winders and cable boxes over the years and recognise that different cable locales call for different solutions. So here’s another to add to the cable stable.

Especially for those with a Macbook, this hot orange number wraps the cord safely around the power adapter – neat! The PowerCurl also elevates the power adapter off the ground or desk for improved air circulation and cooling.

The PowerCurl was created by a team of designers at Quirky. The Quirky story is cool: regular people share their ideas and inventions and then share in the profits when the item goes into production. The PowerCurl was the work of ten designers in the Quirky community – all Apple enthusiasts – who came up with the gadget in less than 24 hours.

The PowerCurl is available from Quirky for US$9.99.
