You’ve heard of line dancing. You’ve heard of KangaTraining. But you’ve never seen anything quite like KangaGroove, the next generation of dance classes that allows mum and bub to get down and groove together. We absolutely adore this video of a group of American mums showing us how KangaGroove is done.
Move over flash mobs. KangaGroove is about to take over the world. One San Diego couple is taking their unique dance classes viral and we are ready to “Fly” KangaGroove over to Australia and give it a try!
Launched only yesterday with a video of mums dancing to “Fly” by Sugar Ray (come on, you know you loved that song), KangaGroove is the answer for mums who miss shaking it up on the dance floor.
Unlike some of the other dance courses out there, such as Zumba, (which, for someone who is an uncoordinated as me, is impossible) KangaGroove looks relatively easy to master with simple steps and hip movements that are safe for wee ones in their carriers as well.
It’s hard to tell who is having more fun – the mums or the bubs.
Since Amber and Meeshi Anjali, the KangaGrooving couple who came up with the concept, posted the video, it has been viewed more than 6 million times and the couple have been inundated with emails from around the world asking them to bring KangaGroove to their communities.
What do you say Babyologists- do we need KangaGroove classes over here? I’m voting for Yes!
