If you’re not sure a baby monitor is a long-term investment, this latest model may just convince you there can be longevity in your purchase.
I’m a baby monitor freak. I have invested in several over the past two-and-a-half years. I’m currently using a Uniden system, and it has been worth every cent – I’m particularly fond of having video monitoring. The newest Uniden Digital Wireless Baby Video System takes things a step further, with a few extra options to extend its life.
One of the clever design features is the option to purchase extra cameras – you can have up to four – and monitor all of them at once. Perfect for families with several young ones. I love the idea of being able to use one in the playroom and another in the bedroom – making this model valuable long after your babies are no longer babies!
There are some high-tech specs, including secure, digital, crystal clear monitoring. The display is a colour LCD screen and the system has a VOX (voice-activated) record and alarm feature. It has “walkie talkie” capabilities, so you can talk to or soothe bub, and it also plays a selection of lullabies. The system even has the ability to record to an optional SD card.
The Uniden Digital Wireless Baby Video System retails for $169.95, and is available from selected electrical retailers.
