The height of cool from Converse

There’s high-tops and then there’s higgggghhhhhh-tops. Check out the latest from Converse.

Have Chuck Taylors ever not been cool? All I wanted when I was in primary school was a pair of cherry-red high-top “Connies”. When my son turned nine this year, the number-one item on his birthday wish-list was a pair of khaki high-top Converse.

Well the high-top has had a growth spurt – the brand new Converse X-Hi turn your favourite sneakers into a boot. Before you start wondering just how you’ll lace your toddler into knee-high sneakers, rest assured the laces are decorative and the shoes close with a side zipper – phew!

Converse X-Hi for kids have not hit Australia yet but you can stay ahead of the fashion pack and buy online at Nordstrom, who ship to Australia. Prices range from $66 to $72 a pair.
