The Healthy Spring & Summer Cookbook from Lose Baby Weight

Some people don’t have any, some have lots. Some people couldn’t care a jot, others are a little obsessed. Some take immediate action against it, others are happy for nature to take its course. What am I talking about? Baby weight.

Earlier this year, our editor Mandi shared her battle with shifting the extra kilos that were left after having her third baby. Mandi found great success with the Lose Baby Weight program and while it’s not the system for everyone (as shown by the lively discussion the post generated!), the convenience of the program continues to appeal to many.

The Lose Baby Weight program combines meal-replacement smoothies, healthy eating plans and exercise. The plans have been carefully developed to be suitable for mothers who are breastfeeding.

There are a number of products available to support the Lose Baby Weight plans, from an ingenious portion control plate to cookbooks and exercise DVDs. The latest in the range is The Healthy Spring & Summer Cookbook, with fifty-five delicious recipes that will have the whole family enjoying fresh, tasty, seasonal meals that promise to pack a nutritional punch.

Keeping in mind that parents aren’t short-order cooks with time to prepare different meals for every member of the family, the focus is on family-friendly recipes – barbecues and marinades, refreshing non-alcoholic drinks, salads and vegetarian meals. The book also includes a Three Day Cleanse Plan for those feeling the need to ‘spring-clean’ their body and twenty smoothie recipes packed with summer flavours.

Recipes are accompanied by nutritional information although the book also includes very handy ‘top ten’ lists for quick reference on the best seasonal fruits, vegetables and proteins to choose – eating well couldn’t be easier!

The Healthy Spring & Summer Cookbook is $34.95 and is available directly from Lose Baby Weight, which delivers Australia-wide.
