Softline Grand Prix Rocking Chair

Until I moved to Australia two years ago, I had no idea who Princess Mary was. Now I’m as interested as the next Aussie girl in the fairytale princess who met her prince in a Sydney bar and became the future Queen of Denmark. Consequently, I was interested to learn that she has embraced Scandinavian style in her new life – so much so that apparently the royal kiddiwinks have one of these great looking chairs.

Yes, Crown Princess Mary has fallen for Danish design company Softline, who have come up trumps yet again with the Grand Prix rocking chair. It’s very sleek with a retro feel and its small dimensions make it ideal for a child’s room.

There’s a number of colours to choose from and the covers are removable. Each one is $700 plus shipping costs from local stockist Interstudio.

We recently looked at the Me&U swing also from Interstudio and another stylish Danish product for the kids.

Hmmm, I wonder which colour Her Royal Highness went for…
