Tech support for computer illiterate parents

Tech Support Care Package

Tech Support Care Package

I suspect that having my grandmother talk to me about how much RAM she needs on her new computer is not the norm. Some people need a few pointers on the bare basics when it comes to their computer.

The team at Google have put together a slightly tongue-in-cheek Tech Support Care Package for parents which lets you email them how-to videos on some basics such as changing wallpapers and screensavers. All well and good as long as they know how to open their email!

Tech Support Care Packages are free of charge.

Katrina Whelen

Katrina studied planning and design, did the hard yards working in a big office building and then traded it all in for a relaxing (!) life at home with four children. She now fills her time with writing, completing a degree in genetics and taxiing her children around Melbourne to their various sporting commitments (not necessarily in that order).
