Super cute and colourful kids fashion from Mina Perhonen

Japanese textile and fashion brand Minä Perhonen has launched a line of children’s clothing that will make you want to buy one of everything for your own children and then more again for when they grow out of that first set.

I won’t mislead you, the Minä Perhonen website is tricky to get around, especially so if you know little of the Japanese language. It appears only limited pieces are available online so it’s worth seeking out a store if travelling to Japan, but be prepared to take friends’ orders also!

I adore the Twins dress with its gorgeous navy and floral appeal. The embroidery and ribbon detail are superb and the Peter Pan style collar, well, that’s just beautiful. For everyday wear you can’t go past the equally fun and practical Bonbon pants in mint or blue, teamed with an animal print unisex Look tee.

Sizes are listed by child’s height, from babies of 70cm up to 13ocm, which corresponds to size seven or eight.

To see what’s on offer and to find stockists, head on over to Minä Perhonen.
