A range that harks back to our own treasured childhoods, Little Duckling’s collection of vintage-inspired threads reminds us of warm summer days by the beach.
Created by Danish designer and mum Rosa Wiland, the new Spring/Summer 2011 collection features fifty designs (spoilt are we!) and includes Little Duckling’s signature fish print in t-shirts, vests, leggings, hats and dresses. The girls’ dresses are as sweet as a button and have that oh-so-handy appeal of working well for daily wear as well as smart occasions so they won’t just sit in the wardrobe waiting for that special outing.
To complete the range there is a collection of super-soft knits and woven skirts and dresses, all finished with delicate detailing, sweet little trims and pockets.
Great news for parents of boys, we think it’s the more masculine pieces that take the crown. The twill shorts, linen trousers and dungarees are all gorgeous statement pieces, whilst the retro shirt with coloured piping is a real design classic. One to buy, admire your little soldier in and keep close to your heart forever…
Little Duckling comes in sizes to fit from newborn to seven years. Prices start at $19.95 and you can find the range locally at Little Wardrobe.
