The newly released Stöh lunch tote from NYC-based company Milkdot is unlike any lunchbox I’ve ever seen. I suppose lunchbox isn’t the best word to describe it though. Maybe lunch holder that will keep your food hot or cold whilst being environmentally friendly (no PVC here!) is a better description.
Lunch totes, boxes and bags have been on my mind recently. As previously mentioned, my daughter’s last lunchbag didn’t make it so I’ve been using a not-quite-right-for-the-job backpack in the interim.
This beautifully designed lunch tote might be just what I’m looking for. Designed by Janet Cho, creator of Milkdot, the lunch tote has wowed me with a few things that make it totally unique.
It opens up completely yet is roomy, so gaining access to your kid’s food or drinks is no longer a game of reaching to the bottom and hoping you get what you want. It features closed-cell interior foam for premium insulation and a hidden magnetic closure. However, the modern, fluid design of the Stöh, combined with the internal mesh pockets, are the best attributes of all.
To purchase a US$25 Stöh lunch tote for either you or your child, head to Milkdot. You’ll need to organise a reshipper for postage to Australia.
