Let the kids spend rainy days in style with gumboots and raincoats from French Soda

A little bit of rain won’t stop your kids from wanting to get outside and explore. They can now have fun puddle jumping in style with all the rainy day gear they’ll need from our friends at French Soda.

It was in May 2015 that we first came across the bright collection of rainwear from French Soda. The Melbourne-based label have a new collection of winter raincoats just in time for the wet weather.

Raincoats come in six colours and linings, in two different styles, including a selection of unisex options. My personal favourites are the Meow and Benji designs, both gorgeous colours and each with its own modish lining. The boys’ and unisex styles have two front pockets for storing all those post-rain walk nature goodies in, while the girls’ range has subtle pleating.raincoat

Each of the hooded raincoats in this wonderful collection are priced at $65, will keep your little ones dry and add a fashionable and classic winter piece to their wardrobes.

Also worth a mention is French Soda’s selection of gumboots. Providing your babe with comfort and style, their gumboots are lined with fleece to keep little feet extra warm. The boots are available in two different styles to suit your child’s fashion sense. The traditional tall gumboot is perfect for puddle stomping while the shorter gumboots will add a stylish touch to any winter wear. Both are priced at $45.

As soon as my four-year-old detects the first drops of rain, she is beyond excited to use my umbrella. Of course, it’s three times bigger then her and she is now at a great age to have her own. French Soda just so happen to have kids’ umbrellas that open with a simple push button. Clear so that your kids don’t trip as they traverse the rain, the umbrellas are available in four fun stripey trim colours for $23.
