A table and seats for up to four little ones that will fold away easily when they’re finished using it? Sign me up!
We all have little peoples’ furniture on our verandahs and patios and in our living rooms. At our our house alone, we have a table and four chairs outside and another table and three chairs inside. It’s a necessity but sometimes it can be frustrating when space is at a premium and the furniture ends up taking over the space.
That’s where this ingenious creation by designer Stephen Procter is really scoring points. Set up the Indoor/Outdoor Bench to provide a place for the kiddies to eat, do some colouring or play a game. When they’re finished, it can be folded up flat for simple storage.
I’m loving the contemporary, industrial lines and muted colouring, which doesn’t scream children’s furniture. Made from plywood, moulded plastic and steel, its name says it all: it will be at home indoors or outdoors thus fulfilling the all important practicality criterion.
It’s not yet available for public sale but here’s hoping it will be very soon. Head to the Stephen Procter website for more information.
