Children’s eyewear has never looked so cool and so fashionable. If you’ve just been given the news your child needs glasses take a look at this brilliant collection – the first foray into optical frames from these children’s sunglasses aficionados.
When we first slapped eyes on Sons & Daughters Eyewear a couple of years ago during the international trade show rounds, the brand was fledgling but creating quite a following. Now they’ve found their footing, and are branching out from sunglasses, by launching their first optical frame collection – and it’s fabulous. And here’s a little gem of information that I love – the sunglasses have the ability to have prescription lenses inserted. So kids who wear optical spectacles can don a cool pair of shades too.
The new collection of prescription glasses is really beautiful, and created in such a way they can’t help but be appealing to children. Each set of frames has a name, which allows them to take on a life of their own. For example, there’s Clark – touted as a frame for looking smart and being ready for action.
Spiff is a stellar frame which is out of this world. While Frank (at the top of the post) is perfect for budding geniuses.
Or there’s Harry – remind you of anyone? So you get the picture – the frames are fun and aimed at enhancing a child’s confidence. The optical frames come in four different designs, and each design can be personalised again by changing the frame colour – so each set is unisex.
Likewise the new sunglasses collection is adorable. These sunnies are, first and foremost, all about safety, with protection from UV rays at the forefront. But it doesn’t hurt that they’re ultra fashionable.
