Show us your nursery – Sage’s beautiful unisex room of rainbow pride

We’ve featured dozens of gorgeous nurseries, but this is the first to carry a subtle theme of pride, in a nod to the same-sex parents of this very lucky little boy. Come and take a look at this delightful space.

Seven-month-old Sage is one lucky little gent. His talented parents have managed to create a warm and inviting space for him to grow in, without the need for either a pink or blue theme. They’ve managed to capture the essence of play, sleep and explore with a heavy designer edge.

Here is how mum Erica explains Sage’s nursery:

We are a same sex family and wanted to incorporate rainbow/pride and a bright unisex theme without screaming rainbow/pride. We wanted something more subtle. Ultimately it came down to picking items we love and want to be around, and it’s made it such a beautiful space to spend time with him in. He loves it in there. It took most of the pregnancy and still going to collect items we loved.

The beautiful felt ball rug creates the perfect anchor for the room, with other pieces dotted around the nursery all reflecting back to its bright pop of colours.

Decals, gorgeous toys and a wall of beautiful art create areas of interest, while the Ubabub cot is just the right touch of contemporary and timeless.

This couple has spent so many hours trawling for the perfect pieces to accent Sage’s room, and we’re thrilled they’ve shared with us where they’ve managed to source key pieces. So take a look at the list below if you like what you see!
