Inspired by kids giggling at nothing and frolicking in the park, Jacinta Oxford’s inner-child has come out to play. Her imaginary world is illustrated in this new art collection for her company, Roxyoxy Creations.
Playful artworks named ‘Apple Picking’ and ‘See Saw’ (shown below right) lead me to think that Jacinta has a soft-spot for outdoor shenanigans. Each artwork is composed with fine papers and fabrics. Jacinta then adds a 3D effect by raising focal parts of each piece and voila! They spring to life.
Jacinta’s company is based in Mount Martha, a picturesque seaside town on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Perhaps this explains the passion behind her ‘Surf’s Up’ work. ‘Surf’s Up‘ is available in six different colours.
Newborns and beyond can enjoy these nursery wall treats. Styles for girls include themes of love and sing-song. Little boys can peer at robots, skateboards and monsters. Some works are in neutral colours perfect for when the recipient’s sex is a surprise.
Surprise someone with a piece from Roxyoxy Creations, with artworks priced from $80 to $220, plus an extra $30 shipping. My favourites are pictured above and below. They are (clockwise from above left) ‘Up Up and Away’, ‘Sending My Love’, ‘See Saw’ and ‘Sail Away’. See more of our wall art favourites.
