The man who creates these cool prints has a bit of a thing for robots. He sculpts them, paints them and tells stories with them. And his creations lend themselves to being displayed beautifully in a child’s nursery.
Mike Slobot is the creative mind behind The Art Of Slobot. Slobots, in case you’re wondering, are good robots, working alongside people, animals and the planet.
When Mike creates his robotic sculptures he tries to outfit them with reclaimed bits and bobs. He likes to think of his creations as art and toys and each robot is unique.
His prints, which range in price from US$14 toUS$18, are made to order and professionally printed so they look great for a long time. Each robot has its own story, and there are some really striking collaborations, like the Andy Warhol-inspired Campbell’s Soup Bot at the top of the post.
The prints come in two sizes, ready to frame and shipping to Australia is available for US$25.
