Petit Collage has become well known around the traps in recent years, especially for its wonderful use of mixed media on wood in wall art and decor for children.

The American company, founded by Argentinian born artist Lorena Siminovich, has developed a style characterised by modern designs, pieces which mix and match, and vivid colours on natural textures – all made in a sustainable way.

Interestingly, Petit Collage has just released a very affordable new line of art called ‘prints on wood’. Some of their best designs have been chosen for these works, and have been printed on small pieces of sustainably harvested maple veneer. Costing $25 each, these really offer a great way to decorate on a modest budget. They are also a good candidate for a baby shower or birth gift. And speaking of gifts, Petit Collage has also released decorative tape with some of their favourite designs, like ‘animal jungle’ in orange and ‘garden’ in brown. This tape is a lovely way to decorate a present. It’s also great for a project at home – I know I will be adding a couple of rolls to the craft box to see how they go down with my son.

The new release prints on wood and decorative tape are soon to arrive in Australia. Contact Kindergallery, Australian distributor of Petit Collage for details.
