When everyone’s favourite pre-school Prince met the king of political cool last week, there was bound to be a flurry of photos. And while President Obama looked dapper in his suit, Prince George once again stole the show with his choice of attire.
Warning: Cuteness overload.
Prince George may be one of the cutest little dudes in the world but the rules of bedtime still apply, even when meeting the President of the United States of America. If you’re still recovering from all the naaw-worthiness apparent in the official Queen’s birthday portrait last week, you might want to look away because it’s naaws aplenty from here.

Kensington Palace released photos of the adorable pre-bedtime encounter between the Prince, President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle who visited the royal family at their private residence before a state dinner.
Donning blue and white checkered PJs, a dressing gown from My First Years and black slippers, George looked clean and ready for nigh nighs. Prince George thanked the Obamas for his rocking horse, which they gave him when he was first born and went for a quick spin on the present.
The photographers captured plenty of sweet shots of the dashing Prince and his blue and white pyjamas which are clearly a huge hit. Of course, the dressing gown has now sold out, thanks to royal-watching parents the world over keen to nab one for their own little princes and princesses.
This isn’t the first time Prince George’s fashion sense (or his mum’s) has caused a frenzy. Prince George donned this adorable blue “guards tank top” by Cath Kidston and it sold out almost immediately.
Prince George and his parents seem to favour the white and blue combination as the wee one also dons his signature colour combination when meeting his sister for the first time and when posing for a photo with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Prince William.
There is no denying the cuteness of this little man, regardless of what time of day it is! Stay tuned for more royal snaps as Princess Charlotte turns one next week! We are sure that they too are going to be as sweet as can be.
