Although she’s only six months old, I’m obsessed with buying hairclips and jewellery for my daughter. Necklaces, clips, headbands – all put away in a bowl, just waiting for the day when my little one will be able to wear accessories without choking on them.
And now I’ve found an awesome one-stop-shop, Ruby Luxe, an older sister brand of Shanghai Ruby. Shanghai Ruby is known for it’s beautiful, original pieces for little girls three to nine years, and Ruby Luxe is geared for girls nine years and beyond.
Featuring wooden pieces such as the bird bracelet and duck brooch, the pieces are so different I think most mums won’t mind ferreting about in their daughter’s jewellery boxes when they need the perfect thing to complete their outfit.
Ruby Luxe came into existence earlier this year when owner Helen Bailey looked into the future to glimpse the accessories her daughters might be wearing as pre-teens. The result? A range of wooden, acrylic and ribbon based products that have a mini-hip feel to them.
