With growing concerns over the state of our planet, we shouldn’t stop at groceries when it comes to going organic. Why not extend it that bit further to our clothes? Positively Organic’s motto is ‘positively fun kids’ clothes, positively friendly to the planet’ and I couldn’t say it better myself. Each garment is made from organic hand-picked and ring-spun cotton, the snaps are nickel-free, and the dying process uses low impact chemical dyes. All in all, you can rest easy knowing the planet hasn’t suffered for your great taste!
New this season is the arrival of summerwear for kids aged six months to six years old. As the weather heats up the Whirlygirl dress is a fuss-free addition to any girl’s wardrobe, and boys don’t miss out either – the Snap Front Shirt looks particularly smart and suits dressing up and going cool casual.
Now to unveil what has definitely caught my eye… enter the Earthline collection. Funky in colour, fabulous in print and design. I don’t care much for clothes so bright and garish they scream at you. These beauties give a subtle shout.
The Earthline collection features long- and short-sleeved bodysuits, pants, and my favourite – the long-sleeve tee which has the envelope neck that I love for its easy-to-slip-over-head factor. All items feature fabulous prints, in beautiful colours of course. Head huggers are also available in coordinating colours to finish off the outfit snugly, complete with ties so that little hands can’t get these off too easily!
Earthline tees have a RRP of US$26 but are currently on sale at the Positively Organic webshop. International shipping is available so be quick!
