Move over, two dollar shop. Poppies for Grace has party favours that will make kids shout hooray.
Have you ever stood in a shop for an hour before a birthday party staring at rows of junky favours, wondering which is the least worst option? The only problem you’ll have with the colourful, joyful favours at Poppies for Grace is trying to limit your favourites.
There are plenty of retro favours: mini water pistols ($0.50), poppers ($2.50) and bubbles ($2.95), but every item has a modern design twist. Erasers ($5.95) look like an offering from a chic patisserie, tattoos are of pink flamingos and frosted doughnuts, and the bouncy balls look like they came out of a Pantone colour system called “Glee.”
There are also party hats decorated with pompoms and festooned with fringe, and bags of metallic balloons. Stay away from giving out handfuls of messy pocket confetti in the goody bags though, unless you’re keen to be the most unpopular parent at daycare.
Poppies for Grace ships domestically for $10 flat, or if you get carried away buying heart-shaped poppers, orders over $150 ship for free.
