When my children were babies and toddlers I avoided an overnight stay like nothing else. Not because of the stuff we’d have to pack or the shake up to a routine, no that was a walk in the park compared to the monstrosity that was our portable cot.
Having recently found myself wrangling my nephew’s portable cot, bad memories flooded back as I pulled, pushed and lifted the base many times over while mumbling several curse words with my sister-in-law. You can imagine my delight when I recently feasted my eyes upon the JourneyBee portable cot.
The JourneyBee portable cot pops open – yes really – just pops open! It’s super lightweight, at only around five kilograms, and has its own fancy carry bag. The JourneyBee portable cot has mesh sides so you can see whether there is sleeping or playing going on, is made from washable fabrics and includes storage pockets on the ends (always handy for an extra dummy). There’s a style for everyone with five fabric designs ranging from basic black and silver through to polka dots!
JourneyBee Portable Cot is priced at US$149 and available from ParentLab. Unfortunately, JourneyBee is not yet shipping direct to Australia, but we hope they will soon.
