The beautiful Playtime New York trade show has just wrapped, and we are still catching our breath. It was colourful, inspiring and bursting with everything you could covet for children. Here’s what we found.
Playtime New York had kids covered from top to toe – literally. So let’s start at the top shall we, and say hello to Hello Shiso – a small design studio which makes stunning hair accessories for girls (and even their mums).
Urban Infant impressed with its range of toys and accessories for children aged from six months through to six years old.
Spanish brand Tocoto Vintage draws its inspiration from a love of vintage and the sea – what adorable clothing.
With their fun, bold and vibrant prints it was hard to miss the wonderful Rouxroo and their collections of bibs, blankets, burpies and swaddles.
A bohemian, free-spirited nature shines through Louise Misha’s 2014 summer collection, which includes jewellery and accessories.
Using the hand printing, weaving and dyeing skills of artisans, Muny makes fun, bohemian clothing and accessories for kids.
Quality children’s clothing with a classic, timeless look – Seesaw is simply breathtaking.
I love a brand that hones in on something and ensures they do it well. Wolf & Rita make stunning shirts for boys and girls. They also do other beautiful pieces of clothing, but it’s the shirts that set them apart.
Motoreta is a sublime new children’s brand hailing from the south of Spain. Elegant yet contemporary, Motoreta was a welcome new addition to Playtime New York.
AXL’s take on modern, organic baby clothing was bang on the money, with the San Francisco label drawing the crowds.
And fittingly after starting at the top, we shall end at the toe – with these comfy Wubby children’s slippers. Made in France from sheepskin they were a highlight at Playtime New York.
