Pick’n’mix colours at Republic Bike

Ask a child to describe their perfect bike and you’re likely to get a very specific list of what they want. I know because we have a white BMX with acid green handle grips, acid orange pedals and a black seat sitting in our garage. Now you can customise colours like never before.

Republic Bike are custom built – choose the colours of everything from the frame and seat, right down to the shade of your bike’s housing (that’s the wire-y bit that controls the brakes – I like mine in yellow). Any bike design that lets you have aqua-wall tyres has got to be pretty cool. You can see how your bike will look in the nifty 3D bike shop.

Republic Bike are built by them and you – the bike arrives ninety per cent assembled and all you have to do is attach pedals, front wheel and handlebars.

Custom bikes are $549 (the Aristotle model is shown at top. Note that the Plato model, shown directly below, is only available in the US at this stage.) Republic Bike has a delivery arrangement with Roger David stores nationally – pick up your custom built Republic Bike from your nearest Roger David store.
