Everyone’s favourite pig is heading down under for her first big screen debut this month. Instead of jumping in muddy puddles, preschoolers will be jumping in cinema aisles as Peppa Pig releases her very Aussie inspired first film.Peppa Pig My First Cinema Experience: Peppa’s Australian Holiday will feature nine brand new episodes, including four based in Australia.
Aussie kids will love seeing Peppa visit the outback and Great Barrier Reef, throw a boomerang, enjoy a barbecue, learn to surf and hang out with Kylie Kangaroo and her family in an exclusive four-part adventure.
She will also head to London, enjoy a zoo day and a cruise on the canal before learning some valuable lessons from Policeman Panda.
Check out the trailer:
Peppa first began entertaining British preschoolers in their lounge rooms 12 years ago but this will be the first time she swaps television for the silver screen.
The show, which is now aired in around 200 countries worldwide, follows Peppa and her family as they find an adventure in every day.
The UK cartoon is loaded with various animal characters from Danny Dog, Suzy Sheep, Zoe Zebra and Rebecca Rabbit and this new cinema experience is set to bring loads more as Peppa meets Mr Lion, Mr Wallaby, a platypus and a koala.
The trailer promises to bring the same colourful Peppa flare we are all familiar with, but then there’s the added excitement of seeing how the Australian landscape has been captured in cartoon form.
A lot has been packed into the movie’s one hour run-time, which is ideal for young children with short attention spans.
Children will be encouraged to sing, dance and play along with Peppa and George, with never-before-seen live action on-screen entertainment, designed to create the perfect first cinema experience for little ones.
Peppa Pig My First Cinema Experience: Peppa’s Australian Holiday will open in cinemas nationally from March 16.
