Parents surprise their daughters with an adopted baby brother for Christmas

Emma and Chloe wanted nothing more for Christmas than for their parents to have another baby. So mum Courtney and dad Steve decided to surprise their daughters by placing their newly adopted baby brother under the tree.

Come and watch as these adorable little girls discover that Christmas came a little early this year.

A new addition to the family is always a special moment. But Nathan Solstad’s arrival has an extra special meaning, especially for his two proud big sisters, whose Christmas wish “for [their] mum and dad to have a baby they desire.”

Their reaction is too cute for words.

Courtney and Steve managed to keep Nathan’s impending arrival a secret from their daughters. The family, who live in Texas, adopted Nathan and brought him home on 5 December, just in time for Christmas.

As Courtney explains on Facebook, the “girls knew nothing about Nathan until this. We met them at the door and told them that we had been out Christmas shopping and got them a gift to share… and it was under the tree!”

Congratulations to this beautiful family on the new addition. It is clear that Nathan is one lucky little guy!
