Oh Sweet Paul, I love you

Prepare yourself for a visual feast, an overload in gorgeousness and styling that sets the bar very, very high.

Sweet Paul Magazine, based on food and prop stylist Paul Lowe’s wildly popular Sweet Paul blog, is more than one hundred and twenty pages of online bliss.

The current edition, focused on kids, is full of recipes, craft activities and decorating ideas. All are original, highly creative and presented in such an exceptionally beautiful way that by the end you will probably feel the need to whip up a Neapolitan ice cream cake, create a pom pom lampshade and help the kids set up a make-believe Marie Antoinette scene in their bedroom. My favourite stories are ‘Play with Your Food‘ and ‘Baby Food‘ – count on Lowe to make pea puree look good.

Sweet Paul Magazine is available in a printed format (US$26.60) and while it’s great to have a hard copy for future reference, the advantages of digital publishing shouldn’t be forgotten – see something you like in Sweet Paul Magazine? Click it and head straight to the supplier’s website – this is impulse shopping like never before!

Katrina studied planning and design, did the hard yards working in a big office building and then traded it all in for a relaxing (!) life at home with four children. She now fills her time with writing, completing a degree in genetics and taxiing her children around Melbourne to their various sporting commitments (not necessarily in that order).
