Nurseryworks Hollis crib – terrifically transparent

Nurseryworks crib cot

It’s stunning, it’s see-through and you’d better not have those tumbleweeds of dust and lint floating around your floors because they’ll be all too obvious under this incredible crib – it’s the Hollis crib from Nurseryworks.

I can envisage your slightly tilted heads and dreamy eyes at the sight of the Hollis crib – it would elicit a gasp from any design-loving parent. Nurseryworks was proud to show it off at the recent ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) in New York City.

You might ask about the rather austere moniker this beautiful crib has been bestowed – it’s named the Hollis after the great pioneer of acrylic and lucite furniture, Charles Hollis Jones. We adore its pairing with the Nook mattress which we featured in March 2010 and at US$3500, recognise it as a most elite cot.

We’re not sure if local Nurseryworks stockist Bebe will be receiving the Hollis crib, but we’ll keep you posted if they do. Pop it on the Wishlist and if you’d like to look at other cots on the market, check out our handy Cot Chooser.
