Nursery lighting to put you on cloud nine

Take the nursery decor up, up and away with a dreamy lamp.

Created by Chinese designer Zhao Liping, the stunning Cloud lamp is inspired by the poem Chance by Xu Zhimo, which begins –

I am a cloud in the sky, A chance shadow on the wave of your heart. Don’t be surprised, Or too elated; In an instant I shall vanish without trace.

Liping wanted to capture the lightness and subtleties of clouds. Although only a concept at this stage, the Cloud Lamp has been produced as a floor lamp and as a pendant light. Both would make a stunning addition to a child’s room. Let’s hope it goes into production soon.
