I understand that style is subjective – different strokes for different folks and all that jazz. I’ve seen gloriously modern dollhouses, fun and bright coloured plastic monstrosities and now the Disco Blue Moon. Cue the Disco Inferno beat…
We have Babyology reader Kirra to thank for bringing these dollhouses to our attention having stumbled over them during an online search for a modern dollhouse for her daughter. Spanish designer Ana Servio Campos has designed and created the most amazingly accurate renditions of loft living, disco dancing and even an art gallery – just to name a few.
I think it’s safe to say this world of miniatures is pitched more at an adult audience, particularly the Disco Blue Moon. This small scale structure is unlike anything I’ve ever seen – a visual feast indeed. Every time I look there’s something new, yet John Travolta remains unseen.
For €3300 you too can have this Saturday Night Fever theme in your home. At that price it comes complete with figurines, disco ball, awesome light show and all the mirrored tile you can handle. There is of course a bar which your figurine is welcome to take a seat at, a dance floor, blue carpet and security man at the entrance. I kid you not.
