North’s gift to anxious Kim “Mommy, this’ll keep you safe when you go to Paris”

Kim Kardashian and daughter North West

Kim Kardashian’s just revealed that she had very cold feet about going to Paris, prior to that horrendous robbery, and that her daughter North gave her a special good luck charm before she left.

Cold feet

Kim told Allure Magazine she was extremely worried about her 2016 Paris Fashion Week trip, and the woo-woo in us wonders if perhaps some kind of sixth-sense or intuition was kicking in?

While Kim feared a terrorist attack on this particular visit, she was in fact robbed by five men who burst into her hotel room, bound and gagged her and stole over $10 million worth of jewellery.

Her sense of doom was well-placed, it would seem.

“This will keep you safe”

Kim says that prior to this ill-fated Paris trip, North realised she was feeling anxious and determined to make her feel more positive, in a very adorable 4-year-old way.

“[North] gave me a little plastic treasure box, and she put her little jewels in it — like fake little plastic jewels — and she was like, ‘Mommy, this will keep you safe when you go to Paris.’ ”

“To have something really sweet like that is more important to me than all the jewellery,” Kim said, admitting she takes the treasure box with her everywhere. Naw.

Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West are parents to daughter North and son Saint. They’re reportedly expecting a third child in January, via surrogate, although official confirmation has not been forthcoming as yet.

“We’re just moving backwards”

Kim also took the opportunity to set the record straight and speak out about body image and the criticism she receives for posting images of herself. The mum-of-two said women should be able to express themselves as they like, and make their own choices about what they do with their bodies.

“I don’t really live by society’s ideals, so what I would hope is just that women are equal, in every way,” Kim told Allure.

“Whether it’s equal pay, equal rights, I just feel like women should have the same rights as men. I definitely think that women should just have the rights of what they do with their bodies and I think that’s really frustrating when certain rights are being taken away. I feel like we’re just moving backwards when we’ve come so far.”

Often dismissed as being famous for simply being famous, or a sex-tape star, there’s much more to Kim than that.

Yes, she is the focus of reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but she’s also a successful businesswoman with ventures including the Kimoji app, the Kardashian Kollection clothing line, the family’s Dash boutiques, the Kardashian Kids clothing line, the hugely popular Shoe Dazzle shoe subscription service, her KKW beauty line and the Kim Kardashian Hollywood app. And that’s just for starters.
