Playful, bright modern and practical, all the things we love in children’s design. Nohi Kids new range had landed and it is absolutely smooshable.
Designer Janel Jones draws inspiration from children’s artwork to create these awesomely vibrant prints. Using a mix of organic cotton, bamboo and a little spandex for stretch, the range has perfect brights for boys and girls. All the usual baby stuff like giraffes, owls, trucks, fruit, whales and birds appear in the print, but they are designed in such a fresh way, with such bright colours, that I was immediately drawn to them.
If only I had known about their Organic Newbie Gown earlier. It is pure genius. Instead of little legs lined with countless press studs, this gown is simply elasticated at the bottom, leaving it open for some seriously easy nappy changing. The other upside is that it will fit the baby for much longer than your average baby grow because there is no resistance for little toes to press against.
All the clothing is eco-friendly and retails from US$24 to US$48 at Nohi Kids, which ships to Australia.
Need more convincing? A portion of sales are donated to the Caine’s Arcade Imagination Foundation, dedicated to finding and fostering creativity and entrepreneurship in kids. Seeing all these babies, snug in comfortable organic clothing is enough to make you want another ten… or is that just me?
