Funky fashion label Oishi-m is a favourite with us here at Babyology and for good reason. Not only are their signature kimono jeans incredibly tough, they’re incredibly natty as well. And they’ve just released a new bunch of limited edition styles for summer.
I had a look at the new Oishi-m range at Kids Instyle in Melbourne last week and fell totally, madly and deeply in love. You’ll have to be quick if you love them too. Only a limited number of clothes are made in each fabric and these stunners are sure to be snapped up in record time!
New stretchy cotton tops in short or long sleeves come in all sorts of clashing colours and patterns, with a variety of mismatched stripes in bright bursts of colour and cooler gelati shades among my favourites. There’s new shorts too, and new patterns for the Chubba Bubba and Skinny Jean designs for both boys and girls. Plus little girls get a fab selection of flippy skirts.
If you don’t know Oishi-m, believe me when I say you shouldn’t let the delicate look of the kimono fabrics fool you. Not even the vintage fabrics. I’ve been road-testing a pair of Oishi-m skinny jeans on my bottom-shuffling boy for almost a year now. He’s destroyed the seat of more pants than I care to count with his bum-shuffling ways, but I’m happy to report that his Oishi-m skinnies are still going strong. The super-comfy elastic waistband that doesn’t dig into his tummy when he sits is my other favourite thing about these jeans. His too!
