New Kid O toys for 2011 arriving in Australia

2011 brings a whole new selection of stunning Kid O toys and wares – some of which have started to filter through to Australian stores!

It doesn’t matter if it is a gift for a baby or something for my five-year-old, Kid O is always my first port of call. Here at Babyology we’ve expressed our love for the Kid O Coloured Cubes and of course the spectacular Kid O bath toys, Stacking Cups and Floating Ducks.

The Magnatab collection (pictured above) is one I’m very excited about. Perfect for preschool aged children, they simply follow the directional arrows over the beads using the magnetic stylus which pops each bead to the surface. To start again is as simple as ‘erasing’ with a fingertip! There are three Magnatab styles to choose from, A-Z Uppercase, A-Z Lowercase (both RRP$39.95) and Numbers 0-9 (RRP$29.95). I hope to see these on shelves soon, along with the cute-to-boot Squirrel Pull Toy (RRP$29.95, pictured top) which squeaks and has a wagging tail, no less.

Little children will love the Go Car ($19.95) with its smooth rounded surface fitting perfectly in small hands. Available in pink, red, blue and green the Go Car begs to be pushed and rolled over any surface. It’s worth noting that the soft rubber coated wheels ensure a reasonably quiet driving experience!

Kid O have released new books that youngsters can delve into with great gusto as these indestructible beauties are made from wood! Find out where a rabbit lives with Animal Homes or spot different modes of transport with Things That Go. Each book has four wooden pages and eight adorable silk-screened illustrations.

The Kid O Memory Match 36 ($69.95) has made its way to my Christmas list. The game set includes playing board, thirty-six knobs and four double-sided playing cards for playing countless games. The Memory Match 16 game ($59.95) is also available with sixteen knobs for younger children. I can see many, many games of memory being played in front of the air-conditioner over summer holidays!

Kid O products are available from Kinderplay in Melbourne, Toys and Tales in Sydney or online at Urban Baby.
