Nano-origami

Feel like flexing your fine motor skills? How about some microscopic origami?

Paper artist extraordinaire Anja Markiewicz and her friends fold insanely small origami pieces from miniscule sheets of paper. The results are amazing.

If creating a paper crane is Origami-101 then Markiewicz has clearly earned her doctorate.

Check out some of our previous posts about other tiny things – there’s miniature sculptures, photography, food for tiny little dolls and miniscule public art.

Katrina Whelen

Katrina studied planning and design, did the hard yards working in a big office building and then traded it all in for a relaxing (!) life at home with four children. She now fills her time with writing, completing a degree in genetics and taxiing her children around Melbourne to their various sporting commitments (not necessarily in that order).
