The mum kicking workout goals with a toddler in tow… and a baby on board!

For every mum who has struggled to find time to drag the pram out the door for a walk, this one’s for you. US mum Kristy Ardo shows it’s entirely possible to have a toddler and abs too!

When baby arrives, you are thrust into a world of nappies, feeding and sleep deprivation. Finding time to exercise seems impossible, let alone finding the energy or inclination to get out the door. It seems easier to surrender to the maternity pants and accept ‘me-time’ will come knocking in about 18 years.

But Kristy, a former diver turned personal trainer, is showing us all how to make exercise part of our every day, even with the littlest ones in tow, by making it fun and part of play.

This rockstar mum is putting herself out there to help inspire other mums to get their groove back and her amazing fitspo photos and videos are ones we can really get behind.

This Mom's Workout Partner Is Only 2 Years Old

This adorable toddler is his mom’s favorite workout partner

A former competitive springboard diver, Kristy explains on her website she was always athletic, but struggled after the birth of her son.

“Suddenly I was overwhelmingly exhausted and for the first time struggled to get my workout in,” she says.

“I couldn’t just leave and go to the gym that was an outrageous thought.

“After four months I started working out with Tucker and finally began to find my groove.”

And find it she has, in a way that looks do-able for just about any mum who wants to do something more than sit on the couch in their activewear.

“It takes a incredible amount of motivation and self discipline to workout every day while juggling hectic mum life.  But it is possible and I want to motivate and inspire other moms to find their groove,” Kristy says.

Kristy is due to have baby number two in July 2016 but still fits in a 20-minute workout with Tucker every day, sometimes incorporating household chores such as vacuuming and dishes into the session.

She then shares videos of their workouts on her Facebook page.
