There’s something vaguely familiar about this stroller…
What do you think of this one, Babyologists? Mountain Buggy have just announced that they are set to release a clip-on carry bag for their double strollers (the Duo and the Duet) which puts us in mind of one we’re already very familiar with – the Bugaboo Donkey, of course.
Not just for owners of the new Mountain Buggy Duet, the Joey clip-on tote bag will also be available for the older (and wider) Duo stroller, so those owners won’t miss out. Mountain Buggy are promising a durable and sturdy carry bag which clicks into the stroller frame and, nestled inside it, an easily removable tote bag made from eco-friendly materials.
With the full combination less than half the price of the Donkey, we’re sure this will be a well-received alternative by many. The Donkey Mono combination (with one seat and the carry bag) is still about three centimetres narrower than the Duet, which may be a consideration for some people. We have no word yet on release date or pricing, but as always, we’ll keep you in the loop once we know.
In the meantime, check out our Pram Chooser for all the specs and details in your search for the perfect pram. This one is hot off the press, so the Joey (and Duet) details will be there as soon as they come in.
Here at Babyology we’d love to know what you think of this new offering. Are you a Donkey devotee, or might the Joey convince you to bounce over to Mountain Buggy instead?
